2. Data processed by BricoDato
Calculators mainly run in the browser. Values entered for calculations are not used to build personal profiles and are not configured as Google Analytics parameters.
When you visit the site, technical data required to deliver and secure the website may be processed, including IP address, basic browser information, request date and time, and the requested resource.
BricoDato Forum data
If you register or participate in the BricoDato Forum, data required to manage your account and participation is processed, including username and email address, hashed password, IP and security logs, public posts and replies, reactions, reports, account preferences and moderation or anti-abuse information.
Forum posts are public unless a feature expressly states otherwise. Do not publish personal or sensitive information you do not want to make public.
If you email BricoDato or submit a form, the information you voluntarily provide is processed to handle your request.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Website delivery and security: operate the site, maintain availability and prevent abuse, based on legitimate interests.
- Analytics: measure visits and product usage to improve content and functionality. Analytics storage is controlled through Google Consent Mode and CMP choices.
- Contact: respond to enquiries, incidents, suggestions and proposals.
- Legal compliance: retain or disclose information where required by applicable law.
- Forum accounts: register and authenticate users, publish content, enable replies and manage preferences.
- Moderation and anti-abuse: detect spam, fraud and misuse and protect users and systems.
4. Google Analytics 4
BricoDato uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-0EXH87JV1Z under Google Consent Mode. For EEA, UK and Swiss users, analytics_storage starts as denied and is updated according to CMP choices. BricoDato does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal codes, localities, job descriptions or calculator/form values to Analytics.
5. Providers and recipients
- OVHcloud: web hosting, infrastructure, database, domain/DNS and associated email services.
- BricoDato Forum (Flarum): community software hosted on OVHcloud infrastructure.
- Google Analytics: statistical measurement under Consent Mode.
- Google AdSense: advertising monetisation and consent-related signals.
- Forum anti-spam tools: may process technical and account information to detect abusive registrations or posts.
Some providers may use international infrastructure. Where applicable, transfers are handled under the safeguards and mechanisms provided by data-protection law and provider terms.
6. Retention
Privacy preferences may be retained by Google's CMP as necessary to remember your choice. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle the request and any reasonable legal responsibilities. Analytics retention follows the configured Google Analytics property settings. Forum account information is kept while the account is active and as needed for legal, security and anti-abuse purposes.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability. You can also review or withdraw privacy choices through the “Privacy & cookie settings” link. To exercise rights, email contacto@bricodato.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
8. Forum accounts, moderation and deletion
You may request review, correction or deletion of data linked to your forum account. Public posts may require consideration of third-party rights, thread coherence and applicable legal obligations. Technical or moderation logs may be retained for a reasonable period to prevent fraud, spam and repeated abuse.
9. Children
BricoDato is not designed to deliberately collect personal data from children. If you believe personal information about a minor has been submitted, contact us to request review or removal.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when BricoDato features, providers or data processing change.
Affiliate and commercial recommendations
BricoDato may use identified affiliate links. A qualifying purchase may generate a commission for BricoDato, without changing calculator formulas or guaranteeing suitability for a specific case.
Quote requests
When you voluntarily submit a quote form, the information is processed to manage the request and, where a compatible service exists, make it available to relevant professionals or partners. Requests are stored in a private area of BricoDato's OVHcloud infrastructure and may also be sent internally by email for management. Quote services are mainly intended for Spain.
Google AdSense, Analytics and consent
BricoDato uses Google AdSense for advertising monetisation and Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement. Where applicable, consent preferences are handled through Google's CMP and Consent Mode.
